A Different Kind of SIP Trunk Provider

March 26, 2015

As a company that has over a decade of experience under its belt, we’ve been around the block enough times to know what makes the difference to our customers and employees. When we started out in 2004, we did so with the goal of capitalizing on the opportunity to provide enterprise telephony as an application over IP networks.

This is no longer our sole focus – now we’re focused on our providing our customers with a standard of service that cannot be surpassed, and providing our employees with the a working environment that nurtures and encourages them to develop their personal and professional lives. We aim not  just to grow and develop their careers but also to play a part in growing and developing Pure IP as we strive to put our employees at the heart of what we do.

The past five years have seen this philosophy bear fruit with year-on-year growth and further expansion as we internationalize our business – establishing operations in Singapore, Sydney, San Francisco and Auckland. During 2014, we relocated our London office to a larger, central  location as well as doubling the size of the Auckland and San Francisco offices . This was in addition to opening a new point of presence in Santa Clara, California and Singapore.

Our mission still remains to leverage the growth of private IP networks, so that businesses can migrate their solutions to the latest technologies, such as Microsoft Lync, but as we increase our presence and service offering across the globe, we are unique in our space in offering true ‘follow-the-sun’ support to our 304+ customers in 14 countries and counting.

This couldn’t be achieved without the support of talented, ambitious technicians that are part of a business that has a proven history of sustainable growth.

Clear and Present Ambition

Our approach to manage all of our services in-house compels our employees to be smart, enthusiastic and innovative in their approach to solving problems. But it’s not all work, work, work – we want to breed some of the most creative and agile brains in the industry, which is why we also encourage our team members to express their own ideas, pursue extracurricular activities and set time aside to become a T-shaped employee – all with the full support of the business.

Our ambition as a company is reflected not only in our employee’s ambition, but in the ambition of the customers that we provide SIP trunking solutions for - top online gaming companies, banking institutions, engineering and manufacturers, multinational support centers and international corporations all rely upon our voice services as a critical element of their business and international success.

Don’t just take our word for it, Kevin Harrison, Global IS Unified Communications Engineer at Howden, a world-class engineering company that employs more than 6,000 people in 27 countries, summarises why he enjoys working with us:

“We’ve dealt with large telcos over the years and it’s very hard to get support quickly. Pure IP is highly responsive. We can drop them an email or see who’s available via Lync and get a response within a minute. You can’t really buy that level of service from any other provider.”

Why Pure IP?

Aside from being the first UK SIP trunk provider to become Lync 2013 certified and the only UK provider certified for TLS encrypted SIP trunks – we provide our employees with the skills and knowledge they need to excel. This includes flexible working hours, internal and external professional development, social events and the opportunity to travel to other Pure IP offices, learn other parts of the business and experience different countries.

We’re always on the lookout for agile minds to join the Pure IP team, as our core strength lies in our agility to build services and solutions that meet the needs of our customers in an ever-changing marketplace.
