Pure IP are pleased to announce we have opened a new Point of Presence (PoP) in the Netherlands. Located in Amsterdam, Pure IP’s latest PoP adds to our existing global network, providing further resiliency and options; especially for clients with a European presence. The PoP has been built using certified market leading hardware and systems, as used throughout our entire network.
“We are very pleased to be even better connected to our European clients, and to have upgraded the robustness and reliability of our voice network,” Gary Forrest, CEO at Pure IP continued, “Although it is unclear exactly how Brexit will impact telecommunications between the UK and Europe, we pride ourselves on ensuring we are always a step ahead of regulation. We’re committed to meeting our customers’ requirements, and this new Point of Presence supports our plans for expansion, as well as ensures that we can continue providing an uninterrupted service to all of our customers.”
Following on from Pure IP’s recent announcement that we can now provide full PSTN replacement services in 40 countries using our own SIP-based network, this new PoP further cements our position as the perfect partner to multi-national corporations looking to connect their offices and customers around the world. As an agnostic service provider, Pure IP can integrate with a wide variety of telephony, conferencing, and contact center platforms. Our voice communications expertise is paired with a focus on customer service and an extensive coverage map, providing number coverage for over 90 countries.
While the UK continues to negotiate the terms of their departure from the European Union (EU), it is possible that data privacy regulation would require call routing and media to be treated differently than it is today. By investing in this new infrastructure ahead of any changes, Pure IP will be ready to handle any variations between the UK and EU without delay.
